When I was first stung by life’s great pain

I was told discipline would bring me back to God

Pray all day, every day, and the union will be restored.

Does a child need discipline to know God’s love?

Once the sting of separation is felt, we immediately long to be children again.

Until we discover by accident in our darkest hour that the sting, the pain, the split are all God as well.

Live one moment as the wild child of God that you are and remember that nothing was ever lost.
